Did someone mention hibernating????

I know Winter has come - it was the last episode of Gardeners' World this evening until March 2012. I think there is a C-word special. I really miss GW.

2pm there, if we're down to a 4 hour time difference...

Or no... I'm wrong... that is actually 6 hours different. You were right the first time.

If it's 8.00pm in the UK it will be 4.00pm in Washington

*nods*

And I was reduced to counting on my fingers to come to this conclusion, having been convinced that since we were loosing an hour and getting closer to you it would be earlier... took me some while to twig that the reason I was counting higher than 4 when I started with an earlier time was cause the starting number, at your end, should be higher...

In other words, you take away 4 hours from our time, rather than 5...

I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets a bit confused when we revert at different times, OK, at 4 pm it will be my time for the quiz next Wednesday.

DM - I too have a mental block with the time changes - I find myself wondering am I going to be starving at lunch time or not ready to eat.
