Brown crusty nose discharge

Kip one of the cats from neighbour with all the animals has a brown crusty nose discharge, some in eye corners as well. Ric the one that comes to us is ok at minute but i suspect hes living in a shed in our garden, hes been seen coming & going from it.

Could this be contaigous? Ours are protected by imitial kitten vaccs but could this be a respiritory problem & could it be contagious? I doubt she ever gets the animals any vaccs. Tim is due his booster Jul/Aug

I don't know what this could be Velvet but I would suspect it. I know Tim is particularly vulnerable.

Re: Brown crusty nose discharge

Thanks Elaine. Had a good read and then went onto a few sites with photos one of them being Greek Welfare and came across a cat with similar symptoms and it has Cat Flu

I will do my best to get these people to take the cat to the vet.
