Well yes some skin conditions can be expensive & some very simple non expensive. I have two dogs who periodically have allergies & for the most part can manage it myself but ONLY once having seen the Vet to get a diagnosis

If your pet is licking & tugging there is an irritant present but it could be something very simple to treat. You cant really take for granted all you read.

Hope you get him sorted soon.
