Morning all, well it's a bright day so far had an early start and saw a quick shower but it passed.
More medals in Beijing; aren't we doing well
have lots of work to do so must be off. See you all later.

Domi's birthday today so lots of pressie ripping at 6am . . . and chocolate muffins for breakfast The weather's overcast and decidedly cool.

I didn't get to the gym last night so will try for tonight.

Hasn't the weather taken a chillier turn? Grey, windy, spits and spots of rain and I've had to switch the lights on.

So glad we've got our woodburner in well in time for the colder weather. I wish I was one of those animals that find a warm cosy place and go to sleep until the spring. And it's still AUGUST!!! Feels like September already.

Anyone been blackberrying yet?

Hi, all! Turned much cooler here also after yesterday's gorgeous sunny day and 34C! It's cloudy and only 21C with only a high of 24 predicted...and, I sound like a broken record, still no rain~! Looks as if any precipitation form Hurricane Fay will miss us... Angie, I do so agree with you: would love to hibernate thru the Winter! And it's getting dark before 8 pm now....

Hope to see you all at the quiz tonight..
