Re: GCSE Results

I went to the school to get mine (the same for a-levels) but maybe some schools do it differently? They let us know when the school would be open etc after sitting the last exam.

Re: GCSE Results

hmm, in scotland we got our sent in the post. But not sure about down south Donna. I would think it's just the a levels you had to go into school for. We're still awaiting the results of Raechels SAT tests!! And we all know about that debacle lol. Best of luck to your son

Re: GCSE Results

I'm not sure what are the deciding factors; examining board or school, but some will open the school up and others will post online only.

Did Sean's school not advise you/him what the procedure would be???

Re: GCSE Results

Schools usually open up for students to get their GCSE results. I'm not aware that some are sent by post only, but perhaps it does depend on area?

Re: GCSE Results

Most schools are open for pupils to collect their results this Thursday in person. Does your son's school have a website? If so, you should be able to find details of their arrengements on it.

Can't you phone the school Donna or at least one of his mates' Mums to find out what's going on? Isn't he bothered about finding out his results I was frantic about it when I was his age!!

Re: GCSE Results

He is so not bothered by it all..... the school website has nothing on it, I dont know his friends parents.. but I have asked Sean to start trying to contact people (not that he is any good at that as he has spent all summer holidays in his bedroom cos he wont phone and be sociable).

Kids eh?
