For Moli ......

This isn't a good pic at all, but I took it for you because you can really see the rusty shades in Onyx's fur...the sunshine brings them out. She was having mackerel and sardines for tea!

Thats amazing DM, she looks two tone! Leo is that colour along his sides, but not his tail or back...
Lucky girl having fish for her tea she has fairly landed on her paws!

Re: For Moli ......

Her tail isn't really that large; it was in the foreground. Yes, she loves her fish, but she's not picky (unlike a certain cat who shall be nameless!); she eats anything! She hoovers it up! You notice that plate is almost empty....

Her tail looks really rusty in that pic Eileen.

We have a black long haired cat that lives near us and I have noticed over the years it appears is getting very brown/rusty .... I wonder if sunlight really does something to alter the tone of a black cat?

You may be right Mags, but Leo is not really an outdoor cat

Re: For Moli ......

I wish I could remember where I read about sunshine and black cats: it was a long time ago before I was on line; think it was in one of my cat magazines about breeders keeping black ones out of sunshine for that reason.....
