No wonder that groundhog saw his shadow! They said that it's been the coldest winter in Scotland since records began, and the coldest in the UK for 25 years. Do you know US figures Eileen?

We had some of the sheep in this afternoon and the outside of their fleece was solid with ice.

They were lovely and snug underneath though.

It's certainly the coldest I can remember, the longest too.

Not offhand, but will look them up. I do know that our average Winter snowfall is 15", and we passed that back in the big December storm.
