Global Warming or Gulf Stream ShiftDid you hear the most recent climate predictions? (for UK - apologies to transAtlantic members). It seems the gulf stream may be shifting, which will remove the mitigating effects on our winter weather and leave us 'cold as Canada'  Eeek!http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/4485840.stm Imagine. Lying snow for weeks on end, back to Frost Fairs on the Thames? Will def. have to find some good footwear and Amadeus will need to get his boiler fixed! And on that cheery thought................................

What are you too like?  I lived in Canada for a few years, the one thing I really did notice is there is so much diffrence between each season. Not like here when they just all blend into one. |

the rest of the world is getting warmer and we are getting colder thats what happens when u live in the UK crappy weather some said a few month ago on DW that with 10 years we are going to have winters like they do in Siberia (is that a cold place LOL i hope it is cos i would look a fool other wise ) |
