Demise of one heat pad

Oh dear - my fault but I only left Dinah for a couple of minutes whilst I unpacked the dishwasher, and she's never destroyed anything before....... - but she has been fascinated by these things and possibly a little jealous of the cats. Anyway, it is defunct, only a couple of punctures but that's enough. It's non toxic so no worries there.

So, guess which little dog Santa will not be visiting?

Mini will sleep with me - she likes the pad in the day but prefers my PJs at night!

Re: Demise of one heat pad

Well, despite the puncture marks, I thought I'd try the pad again. Even where there are holes there is a white solid substance visible - no liquid or gel. And the safety notes only refer to the filling becoming liquid if over-heated. I was very loathe to just chuck £20 in the bin without trying. So, I put it on an old plate in case it did leak, heated it for the full 5 minutes and it is fine. Inside the cover no-on would know.

So, even more recommendation for the Snugglesafe - can withstand a small amount of staffie teeth! And my old birds each have a pad again
