Re: Daily shred/Monday

Think you may be right J.
(Will sound like your granny now )
Could you not do some 'giant cooks' and freeze stuff away?
For instance - cook up loads of minced beef, onions, tomatoes as a base for chilli, cottage pie, spag bol, lasagne
- cook beef in a dark gravy with carrots onion etc for stew with dumplings, steak pie, meat and potatoes, sort-of-curry
- chicken in a white sauce - add mushrooms or vegetables or whatever later
- make fresh soup but don't season and leave it very concentrated - just add a stock cube and water to bring it ready to eat.
- if we have too much at one meal I often just make an extra plate and put cling film on and freeze and eat it when OH is away
- stir fry takes a few minutes to prepare (chopping things small) but cooks in 3 minutes....good for you too, fresh veg lightly cooked
- porridge is a great start to the day, warm and filling and you don't need more till lunch.

Lecture over! Take care and get well soon!

Afternoon everyone.

Very cold but bright here today. Been into town and bought a rabbit off the butchers so rabbit dinner tonight, the kids will be pleased as they love rabbit.

That's just about it really, just the usual tidying up and stuff this afternoon.

Hope you feel better soon J!

Re: Daily shred/Monday

Feel really pants today. Have sore throat and sniffles. Had another almost-migraine attack yesterday . . . by the time I was finishing in Hobbycraft I could hardly see and felt very sick. Good job hubby was there to mind Dominik! I've never had migraines but hubby has and the blind spots, wavy lines and nausea are exactly right as far as symptoms go. Great. Just what I needed; can add that to my regular attacks of vertigo!

Office is buzzing today, 6 of us here . . . I'm getting stuff ready for a client presentation tomorrow (he's coming to us) and if we get the work it'll be a nice little direct marketing campaign to create *fingers crossed*

Off to do more 'creative writing now!!

Re: Daily shred/Monday

Hello there! Back to the office today after a long and nice weekend. Spent lots of time with family. Feeling a little off today, but it's probably just Monday blues.

Have a lovely day/evening all!

5.30pm and it's freezing hard already! Brrr. I've really had enough of this for now but I believe tonight may be the last frost here. Hurrah

Re: Daily shred/Monday

It's turned bitter cold here too, even tried snowing earlier when I went to get the kids from school. Unfortunately it didn't come to anything
