Licensing Act 2003

Well, time we were all glamming-up to get ready to go to the pub till 4am! I know I am......................oh, no I'm not, I'm off to bed! 'night!

What do you all think of the extended pub opening hours?

Re: Licensing Act 2003

Doesn't bother me as I don't drink

As long as they don't start spewing up outside my front gate in the early hours

im a non drinker as well, but we do go to the pub but normally during the daytime, wouldnt go out night time drinking anyway, too much trouble nowadays i think once the initial excitement cools off it will be ok.

Re: Licensing Act 2003

Just a big shrug over here I'm afraid. Likewise Mags, if they don't barf in my front garden I don't really care.

I think it'll have minimal impact anyways . . . (I hope so that is )

Re: Licensing Act 2003

Think thats its a really good idea, why should we be able to go and have a couple of sherberts after going to a show, or a film or concert?
I like going to the USofA & Germany they have laws that treat you as an adult and not some brat......

I think so long as its for town/city centres only its ok... don't want the 'locals' opening up so late tho!

Re: Licensing Act 2003

The local news says that the weekend was no more problematic than before........but they did have more cops on..................but it was blimmin cold - so I guess the answer is a lemon(ade!).
I think it's good that adults who (unlike me) like to stay up beyond midnight can now have a quiet drink in a quiet pub as opposed to going to a night club and behaving ridiculously while trying to fit in with the young crowd. I'll just stay in with my cocoa (and Baileys!)
