Sooo Frustrating

So we hasve had Tom for a week now. He was going great guns and Thursday night even curled up on hubbys lap. Saturday night we decided to have a takeaway. Tom was fast asleep on Ians lap when the guy banged on the door. Poor Tom really took a scare and legged it upstairs (once I had got the other door open) Now he is nervy coming into the room (saying that he has just waltzed in and plonked himself in front of the fire!)

I know it was nobodys fault but he was doing so well. Grrrr

That's annoying Kittypal, but give him time and he'll settle again.

Good hearing he was sitting on a lap though.

Tim can be funny about loud knocking & runs to my mums chair where he lies on the back of it. Tom will come round

I think that's fairly normal behaviour, especially for a new boy. He'll settle back again I'm sure. My Pip always runs to meet people at the door, Kizzy goes the opposite way!

Re: Sooo Frustrating

Agree it was a normal reaction, being new and just getting settled. He'll come around, bless him.
