Re: Settling a cat in a one bedroom house.

He'll get there Kittypal... Just give him time. But I do know how your little one crying can tear at your heart at times.

Sometimes cats can just be talkative as well though. I know Cloud is.

He's been here a couple of hours and he seems ok. Hes wandering around the house and coming down for a few strokes and hugs. Hopefully he will settle down soon and relax a bit.

So first night went Ok . Had to get up at 2am and 5am because Tom was howling. Didn't go to him every time he howled because I dont want him to think if he howls we will come running every time. Hope Im doing the right thing!

Yes you are. Wonder why he was howling? Just feeling unsure of where he is perhaps.

Think so because he was fine last night.

Our Tom boy! His eyes are weepy and the vet has run tests and cant find a reason. He reckons he either was in contact with a cat with flu at some point or he has small tear ducts.

Just caught this thread and glad Tom is settling in ok. Brilliant that you could offer a home to an older Cat. He's a lucky boy. I have a Tom, he's a Tabby.
look foward to hearing more about him.
