Dylan hates his tail

Dylan's taken to smacking his tail he'll start off lying down all relaxed and happy, he'll start twitching his tail then he'll look round at his tail with an annoyed expression on his face and smack his tail, he'll go back to looking relaxed then look round again at his tail when he's twitching it, smack it again and keep repeating that three or four times before giving up

Any idea why he does that? He started doing that a few days ago.

He loves being stroked, right from his head to the very tip of his tail so he's obviously not in pain or discomfort due to it

Re: Dylan hates his tail

Alfie used to do that when he was bored and was due a mad dash or wanted to play.

Breagh ignores her tail but Izzi constantly bashes and thrashes hers.

Re: Dylan hates his tail

It's literally like Dylan finds his tail annoying I don't think he's playing, if he was playing he'd pounce on it but he isn't, he'll look at it as though he thinks it's the most annoying thing on the planet

Tim used to do that then he would roll on his back, grab his tail in his paws & bite it! It must be an annoying tail as when it twitches Amber pounches on it regularly - lol

That made me chuckle! Tim was eyeing his suspiciously this afternoon, seemed to really annoy him that the end was twitching! It annoyed him even more when Amber grabbed it - lol. That started off a rough & tumble game....

Re: Dylan hates his tail

Cassie does this all the time!

You'd think she'd be used to having a tail by now, but everytime she catches sight of it she looks at it like it's some kind of mutated tentacle!

The twisted thing is that she loves having her tail stroked. She's constantly wrapping it around me to get it petted.
