Hissy/Spitty....


I have had a few hissy kittens since I started fostering, and the one common thing is they are all girls!!!never had a hissy boy yet...

That's a really interesting observation, Moli. I've never had a small kitten, all mine have been older when I got them, no hissy/spitty. I wonder if other fosters have noticed this?

I was thinking of kittens, but now that Tink's mentioned it Misty and Patches hissed. Dandy, Su-ling and Sultan didn't. Leia never has, nor did Onyx, but she was outdoors ... strange.

Kizzy (f) hisses. Merlin (m) used to sometimes. Pip (m) never has and I am ashamed to say I can't remember if Smudge (f) ever did.

When Tim first met the dogs he hissed and spat at them for a few days off and on. Now he beats them up and is more or less convinced he is a dog and top dog at that
