Re: Good Friday

Afternoon both...

Easter Eggs stayed til Sunday here also... Though given we've mostly cloud cover they would survive without melting...

Have a good "Good Friday" all!

Re: Good Friday

Good thing - I'm still losing weight on my low-fat-until-the-gallbladder-is-removed diet

Bad thing - it's Easter and I can't have butter on my Hot Cross Buns and no Chocolate Egg either!

It's lovely out in the garden again today and I've noticed that the phormium has a flower stem showing. We had the plant in a pot for years and it struggled on, about 2 years ago we moved it to open ground and it's flourished. Not sure what sort of flower to expect so I'll google it

Enjoy your Good Friday!

Re: Good Friday

Hi, all. no chocolate eggs here. didn't think to order any, so please have a bite for me on the day! Cloudy and chilly with rain predicted; currently only 8 C (45 F), not very Springlike. Saw the studio apartment yesterday and am thoroughly delighted with it; just what I was hoping for. Have gotten the paperwork and on the waiting list. I'll do a thread on it when I get the pics uploaded....... PB is just incredibly slow. I'll start the upload while I have lunch; with luck it may be finished shortly thereafter.

Glad some are enjoying warm weather; hope it stays pleasant for the long weekend. We don't get Easter Monday as a holiday here.....

Oh Eileen - so good to hear that you found what you were looking for in the apartment. I was wondering how it had gone. Hope your waiting list stuff goes well with it.
