Rumour of a "nasty bug" around NE Scotland area just now

Just seen a post from a member on another forum who comes from the Aberdeen area. His dog has been sick and lost a considerable amount of weight in a short time. She's hopefully on the mend now.

"Apparently there is something similar to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norovirus Norwalk virus in humans going the rounds of NE Scotland just now. A couple of career dog walkers I met in the park said that several of their customers' dogs were "off sick" just now with similar symptoms."

Hope all Scottish dogs known to us on this forum are keeping OK?

Havent heard anything about it Angie and am in regular contact with several dog walkers through out Aberdeen.
Other than the crap some of our clients feed their dogs, all dogs seem to be fine.

Nothing here either but the Norovirus is associated with hospitals - we had it after my Dad died in hospital not a nice thing but you do loose weight!!
