Sphynx

Not my cat but I thought I would share some photos I took for a lady I met at last weekends cat show.

This is Angel , I think she's only 14 / 15 weeks old.

When I first saw her I thought , "OMG what is that"
I looked in amazement, I had never seen a Sphynx in the flesh. I first thought it looked like a baby E.T .
I jumped at the chance to take some photos of her in her pen. I was also allowed to give her a stroke, she feels like a little peach. I think she's very beautiful, love her big eyes and little old lady wrinkles. I can also see the practicalities of owning a Sphynx , no cat hair, no cling-ons

She's lovely isn't she
I've considered immacing Myrtle if she doesn't stop bring number 2's out of the turdis with her.
I'll have my own Maine Coon Sphynx

Re: Sphynx

I have to be honest and say that I don't like the Sphynx breed, but I did notice her paws - she looks almost to have little fingers doesn't she?

I've NEVER heard it called that . . . PMSL! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has to trail around the house after the cats looking for the after-effects of klingons

Have you noticed the sci-fi theme developing here; Dr Who; Star Trek . . . . I wonder where this might take us

Re: Sphynx

Oh I'm sorry but I can't, I'm sure she's lovely cat with a sweet nature but, oh my, I'd have to knit her a jumper and gloves I'm positive her mummy loves her and she'll have lots of admirers but, no, not me. Sorry hun!

(PS, love the 'turdis' )

Re: Sphynx

Turdis - great, I have added a new word to my vocabulary.

Sphynx - yes, but not the 'pink' ones. I do love the self coloured grey/black tho'. I'm with PoshPuss - would need to knit at least a jumper for it.

Great pics, so clear and detailed. You can see the velvet on her nose.

Re: Sphynx

Fantastic photographs, Matt, her owner must be really delighted with the pictures! I think Sphynx are a breed that people absolutely love at first sight, or are sort of repelled by the unnaturalness of them.... sorry, I'm in the latter group. I'm sure she's a sweet little girl, but ......not a breed for me.

Loved turdis, BTW!
