Thanks for the pics Elaine - what beautiful country. Looks a lot further than 8 miles around the Loch. I have not explored much of Scotland, apart from staying at St Andrews when a friend of mine was up at uni there and a Christmas at Applecross - saw a golden eagle there!

I have no idea Hilary, I havent heard of it but there may be one in near by Ballater or Aboyne.

Ooooh now that looks lovely but you'd need to treck across the caingorms to get to Loch Muik from there.
