Minnies wildlife experience

The other evening just as it was getting dark Minnie was in the garden poking about in the bushes, all of a sudden she sprung out of the bush and just stood there looking at the ground.o Hubby went up to see what was going on and Minnie had found a TOAD,a rather large toad. She wasnt sure about it at all and ran back into the bush.
We made sure the toad made it safely into another bush away from Minnie Thats Minnies first encounter with wildlife we know of

I would have loved to have seen the look on Minnie's face! What a brave girl she is.

Oh bless! A gently reared little girl face to face with a big old wild toad! If they could only talk, I'd love to know what she was thinking.

Did she kiss it hoping for a prince or does that only work with frogs?

Unfortunatly Minnie is not brave enough to try that
Minnies motto is look but don't touch

Re: Minnies wildlife experience

Kizzy wonders if her sister Minnie does what she does - looks, backs off a bit, creeps forward (and may back off/creep forward several times) and then very carefully reach out a paw and either touch gently or give it a good whack, presumable depending on just how brave she's being! Then if there is no reaction, she saunters off with her tail in the air, congratulating herself for her courage!

[In Kizzy's case, this has usually been with an inanimate object she's not seen before - not Minnie's toad obviously ]
