Re: Daffodil race

Ok - pic-fest coming up

tete a tete

mini iris

primula/hyacinth

lastly, for Yola.
If you're planning to plant soft fruit take yourself off to Lidl (assuming you have one) Blackcurrants, raspberry and something else (maybe redcurrant - I don't think it's goosebery, but it might be) - 3 plants for £2.49 And they look sooo good. Her'e blackcurrants. Look at the lovely fat healthy buds. They arrived in the shops yesterday and I bet they won't be around long.

Re: Daffodil race

Those plants look lovely DM. I have a Lidl not far from me I'll stick my head around the door and have a lookie

Well, my daffs are probably about a good 2 weeks away from flowering. Their heads are starting to dip but only just. That makes them about a whole month later than the last couple of years!

Re: Daffodil race

I don't have any here this year having just moved here last spring, never got a chance to plant any yet! Have no bulbs aside from some crocus in a pot inside which flowered weeks ago and a gladioli (also inside) which is just peeping through.

DM I went to lidl as I wanted one of each and they only had the trees (apple, peach, plum, loads!) and they were under a fiver! But was dissapointed about the bushes.

Re: Daffodil race

Mainly all leaves here. A few buds can just be seen. Reckon it'll be a few more weeks.
