Welcome! I agree, Oban is a fabulous name

Black cats are very difficult to rehome, second only to older cats so you are a rescue centre's dream! Thanks for taking him on - sounds like he's making himself at home already

Thanks again for all your welcomes - i didn't know black cat's were hard to rehome - He's so gorgeous! And he's so lovely natured that I can't believe people didn't want him. Seemingly he had been in the rescue centre the longest At least we've given him a good home now. And I think I've managed to post some pics up in the picture section!

I dont know why black and older cats are so over looked in rescues, especially when they are as gorgeous and good natured as Oban seems to be. So pleased he has found a loving home with you xxx

I have now seen Oban the handsome's photos and he is a super smooth boy alright! I too cannot understand why black cats are difficult to rehome - why does the colour of a cat's coat matter?
