Do you recognise these symptoms?

Never notice people's houses, only their gardens.

Make a bee-line for garden stalls at markets and car boots.

There's ALWAYS room for just one more plant somewhere in their garden.

Retail therapy doesn't involve clothes.

Being poor never stops them buying plants.

Other people look blank and bored when they talk animatedly and excitedly about new leaf growth when Spring arrives.

Dirty fingernails.

Spending more time outside than inside.

Owning every gardening book available but still a sucker for one more.

Showing off their garden to anyone who happens to compliment their work.

Looking forward to November for a rest, then itching to be at it again come March.

If you recognise the above then you really are or know a gardener...........

I'm not so much green fingered (no proof that I can actually grow anything yet); as green-brained. I avidly read anything about planting and cultivation and talk to boredom about my blasted allotment LOL!

Oooh, How? I was tickled a few years ago to learn how to do air layering! Only gardening people get excited about this sort of thing .....
