Azaleas


These would have been better if the sun had been shining; figured I'd better take them anyway because it will be raining most of the week and the bloom will be past peak. They're quite old; were here when I bought the house.

One of my garden favs. Mine are still in bud! and about a foot high, so still a way to go before they catch yours!!!!

Reminds me of Langley Park near where I live as child (some random pictures here http://www.friendsoflangleypark.co.uk/photos_page.htm) which is stuffed full of rhododendrons and azaleas . . . inspired my Mum to plant our garden full of them too - some of which thrive until this day
