Well done Adam!

My son, Adam, has just finished a double degree at Cardiff university in English Literature and music. We found out yesterday that he got a 2:1!!! He is delighted and we are very proud, he has worked so hard and doing a joint honours course is not easy. With that grade he can now apply to do a Post Grad in music performance and research. He plays the french horn and would eventually like to play professionally in an orchestra. The only downside for us is that he is applying to universities in Australia, a fantastic opportunity for him, but we will miss him so much. My OH is Australian, and Adam has dual nationality, hence his choice.

Seriously well done to Adam; that's a great grade to achieve!! But I guess with him potentially being so far away it's a bit of a bittersweet thing for you as his Mum.

Hard to accept, but I think the benefit of seeing the world and following his dreams must come above all else . . .
