Restless and Jumpy

Dylan's been really restless and jumpy this morning, he's been wandering around crying, refusing to go anywhere near the back door and acting like he thinks there's a big scary cat eating monster outside even when I've opened the door to show him there's nothing out there.

Next door are having some work doing to the garage, so could that have anything to do with it? They are working the other side of the house to where Dylan's not wanting to go.

Were there men up on ladders? All of my cats seem rather frightened seeing that, apparently it looks really un-natural to them....... ???

Yes there were men on ladders DM, but why would Dylan go out of the door nearest them? To have a look do you think?

Re: Restless and Jumpy

Have you tried taking him outside while holding him? So he feels safe in your arms & he can see that there is nothing to be afraid of. If it is the construction going on & he gets really jumpy, then you know why hes acting that way.

I tried going outside with him to show him there was nothing to be scared of but he wasn't having any of it.

He's fine today though - sleeping upstairs.
