Re: two birds with one stone (not my cat)

I emailed and asked her for more pictures see what happens.

this is the link to the advert of the lady who has the two persians....
http://www.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction.../17af64ba.html

she seems lovely, and is a paying adertiser on pre-loved.

Just see what pans out. Of course if one of the persians turns out to be a blue tabby I'm going to be in love right away lol!

I do think this girl is gorgeous though........so hard to know what to do for the best though. I dont care what a cat is if I look at it and think your gorgeous. BUT if she is cross breed, and we're all pretty certain of that, I am thinking I would be better off going to wood green and adopting one from them, assuming theyd have one available that I like.I am sure a few visits there would trun something up

This blue/ grey ragdoll x is gorgeous in my mind though.......`

decisions decisions!!!

Can I ask a question...

1. Why do you want another cat......the answer to this question may be the key to what you do.

Carly - be careful ...... Darcey was a poorly boy, Princess had her problems. If it looks too good to be true it probably is. Not nagging, just saying.
Kazz's post is a useful thought provoker too.......

Thats why I am being a lot more carefull this time. The main reason I got Princess was because I wanted to get her out of where she was. I could see she wasnt being looked after properly.
I am wondering if this little girl is being looked after properly, but I cant be a one-woman band, as it were, and take in all the cats I feel arent looked after as well as they should be.

Am being very warey, waiting for more pictures, and to see if I can visit before deciding. if no to either then I wont take the kitten.

Something else you said was how much you like the kitten's blue eyes... But remember they may not stay that way. The Clooney Clones all have blue eyes too, but Fran told us they won't stay that way.

Doesn't the little one look a bit like my Bentley?

His mum is a pedigree ragdoll.

Bentley has blue eyes now but they won't stay.

CJK.
Why dont you go through proper breeders instead of free adds? You stand a far better chance of getting a quality kitten that has been reared correctly than on one of those sites.
Dawn.

Re: two birds with one stone (not my cat)

I wouldn't buy her for £150.....ONLY because the owner has obviously lied to you about her. She might have pictures of a ragdoll mom and dad but they are easily sourced from the internet, and even if you did go and see her and there was a ragdoll mum and dad there she obviously didn't come from both of them.

I would never pay £150 to a liar

I would however pay £150 for a moggie, if it was the right moggie.
