Orchid

My small ascocenda orchid surprised me by reblooming! They're sort of tricky; really need a greenhouse for optimal conditions. So, a nice thing to look at on a very cold Winter day!

Re: Orchid

Quite wonderful - I wonder why it has decided to bloom? Even with all the cold weather ...... we've had what I would call a "proper" winter here and bulbs are popping up all over, but the ones you would expect - snowdrops etc. But in the local village people are saying their tulips are coming up already - much too early.

Re: Orchid

DM that is a beautiful colour. So vivid. Never tried orchids of any kind. But think they are lovely.

No idea, really. It Summered outside in a hanging basket in the tree, but my other one did too, and hasn't bloomed. Just luck, I guess.
