My new babies-coronet x abbysinian guinea-pigs!

well as some of you remember we lost the last guinea-pig a few months back-fox attack..ever since theres been an empty hole despite having the dogs, cats n rabbits!
So i popped down the pet shop today too have a peek and nothing was there but the owner of the little shop is a good family friend now (has been for some years!) and said he had a litter back at home of coronet x abbysinian g-pigs..that were 10 weeks old and he hadnt put them in the shop-yet.
Anyway went and had a peek and chose two boar littermates (males) one looks just like a coronet but the other is sorta a mish mash of both breeds!
Named Bert and Ernie (yes i am sad and recalled my childhood love of sesame street!) but they reminded me of them so..

Here we have Bert-

Then we have Ernie-

Then the pair of them-

Lovely!
I think G-Pigs are such fun pets; I think you can interact with them much more than bunnies. Love the woink woink when they're begging for food

Thanks for the photos and the good laugh. I can just see them mugging you for the veg. GP have character by the bucket, I've had two very different and met more. All with their own personalities.

It makes me sad, Luke, because I've had a similar one before Her name was Rastafari, because she was tortie-and-white (probably not the term in GPs but it'll do and everyone'll know what I mean ) and she had all that hair sticking up everywhere
