Re: Recipes - winter warmers wanted

Ok Chef Emma reporting back

The olive oil dumplings were VERY good!!!

Recipe is as follows

110g/4oz self raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
3 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp water (approx to make a dough)
2 tbsp mixed herbs

Throw all ingredients into a bowl and mix cook dumplings for about 45 mins until nice and brown ontop

Well I didn't bother to measure out anything and just thew it into a bowl, mixed it up and bunged them in the oven. That is my cooking style

Other half wouldn't have known the difference if I hadn't of told him.

Don't forget you could put chili flakes in these to spice them up, also a bit of cheese might be nice as well.

Re: Recipes - winter warmers wanted

Thanks for that Emma
I've often wondered if it was possible to use olive oil but never got past the wondering stage!
