TV Lience


I was just looking out same papers the other day & found my tv liences & was just having a look at them. Was checking out the charges of them since 1994 it has gone UP EVERY YEAR?

The price of a lience on

1994 was £84.50
1995 was £86.50
1996 .....£89.50
1997.......£91.50
1998......£97.50
1999.......£101
2000.....£104
2001.......£109
2002.......£112
2003......£116
2004.......£121
2005.....£126.50

I reckon it will be around the £130 next year You dont even get value for ya money as whats on the telly is abouslty crap

Yeah - you wouldn't mind if there was something half-decent to watch.

And they've now stiffed students so they have to get individual licenses instead of being covered by the family license (like I was) when they go into digs/student accommodation. Grrrr!!

I'm really fighting against getting cable (have freeview) coz even with the extra freeview channels there is so little good stuff to watch.
