Goose fat for roast potatoes

Does anybody else use goose fat for roasting their potatoes in? Last year I saw so many cookery programs recommend goose fat that I thought I would have a go, boyfriend said it was a waste of money....that was until he tasted the potatoes, guess what he says this year, don't forget the goose fat!!!!

Re: Goose fat for roast potatoes

It is wonderful!!!!! I normally use lard but the potatoes seem to come out lighter with a slightly sweeter taste. I would recommend people give it a try!
