Hello another new member here

Hello catpages peeps,

I am Alison and I am a trustee for Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue. I vounteer as a fosterer, transporter, home checker and anything else that needs doing really! (I have a full time job as well, so not quite as much time as I would like really, but often work from home which is great).

I mainly foster dogs, but have also fostered a couple of kittens, a couple of rabbits, a guinea pig, some budgies and some cockatiels over the 4 years I have been doing it! (The foster pets are looked after with a view to finding them their forever home.)

I have 2 rescued dogs that I have adopted and a tabby cat that I rescued as a kitten 10 years ago. She was born on a coil of rope in my friends garage (well my friend rented the house and the garage came with it...the door of the garage would not shut, hence presumably the queen puss used it as a dry spot to have said kittens). I actually had 3 of the kittens as my friend could not find homes for them. She was a student and did not want any cats. I was working and could afford to care for them properly. Sadly the 2 boys have used their nine lives already, but the little girl is fighting fit and you would never know she is 10!

Here are a few pics of Zak the cat - on her own, with Bob the border collie who is not allowed on the bed and with Lil the shih tsu who is very old.

Re: Hello another new member here

AJS hello and welcome, You sound like my kind of person. I am part of Boxer Welfare Scotland, home checker, re homer, fosterer and general dogsbody lol.
I listen to all kinds of C**p people spout, then you find out the truth.
I have one dog at the moment who I have had since he was the ripe old age of 8 weeks (now 3). I have 2 cats that rule the roost. 6 children some step and my home is open to all.
This is a wonderfully friendly site guess what? I'm the quiet one bet you cant wait till you meet the talkative ones
