Logged on too late for the tea, Phill But would have had it plain; and what is a "maryland" chocolate chip cookie? I live in the States right next to Maryland (DC) & have never heard that expression ?! But a good chocolate chip cookie or a sugar cookie is what I love with tea...sorry I missed the party

maryland is just the brand name dandysmom, and do you know here in the uk they pronounce the Y as in MARY land not mareland?
I know is chicago they say mareland ( thought it spelt maryland)

shame, i missed the tea too, weak, two sweetners, dash of milk, first out of pot ( otherwise it too strong)

hold the bicceis though.
lol

h and dont worry about cups, am sure somebody can drink right out of the teapot

CJ, thanks for explaining that, was curious. Here they're sometimes called toll house cookies because they were invented by the owner of Mrs, K's Toll House! Also interesting tidbut about UK pronunciation of Maryland...the things we learn on these pages
