And half term is over now; where is Tom when we need him? Sure there's some way to do this, but it's way beyond me......

Here is a multimap link to the south(ish) of England. Reading is just west of London. You can use this website to search maps of the UK to get a feel of where everyone is Eileen.

Julie - edit to say, that from Bristol it is actually very easy to get to the West Mids, straight up the M5 and you're there! It's a journey I used to do quite a bit.

Re: Catsey meet up

Next question; what type of place do people want to meet at? Shopping Mall, Country Park, Tourist Attraction etc etc? This can help in narrowing down possible areas.

Personally, I'm not one for schlepping around on muddy fields, but as there are lots of dog owners here I would be prepared to be voted down on that one (lucky I have an all-terrain pushchair)

Re: Catsey meet up

well a shopping mall is certainly not my cup of tea.

I think we should organise a day at the zoo. Or something simialar. The safari park? Something where the kids could be entertained too.

I often do Midlands to Bristol too, it's an easy run.... straight up the M5.

Re: Catsey meet up

I was just logging back on to suggest somewhere like Cotswold Wildlife Park - great place and fun for any kids that come along! It's easy to get to from West Country, S. Wales and West Mids . . . they do special group rates so if there are 20 or more of us we can get a discount!

Re: Catsey meet up

There's even a good campsite at Burford for anyone who wants to make a weekend of it (wimps need not apply)
