Re: Feeling down

you know what, it REALLY cheered me up.
I love my kids to bits but boy is it nice having some time away from them.
Been a single mom nearly all the time since i had ryan 7 years ago, almost 8.
well before them. when iw as 4 months pregnant his dad told me he had been seeing another woman who was 2 months pregnant, so i told him to go be with her then.
we havent heard from him since.
then my american fiance died in 2001, god rest his soul, then I met hubby, he moved in december 2003 and moved out may 2004.

so i should be used to it by now, but it hard work being on own all the time, so nice to have a break from the kids.

really cheered me up to go out for the night, even though we were home by 11. and then the cinema today. and still got 5 more days to myself!

Re: Feeling down

Carly, you have got to take care of yourself; no one else is going to do it for you...I'm not a nurse, but worked for 4 years in an endicrinology practice & know how important it is for diabetics to monitor; please do take care & not overdo....glad you got out & enjoyed yourself last night...sounds as if you have had some sad relationship problems over the years Hang in there

Re: Feeling down

Take it from old granny Jac, been there, done it , wroted the book and have the tee shirt!
Please take care of yourself. Think about your little one's what would they do if the only stable person in there lives were to go into hospital or worse! My thoughts are with you but please take care and take it easy this week.

Re: Feeling down

you guys shouldnt worry about me you know!
i am off to see my nurse this morning for bp weight and bm check, with possibility of coming off my meds, as my bm's are getting too low. So i am very pleased that no meds may be an option!
I slept sooooo well last night, woke up once but didnt even get out to the loo,w ent right back off to sleep. Slept from 11pm to 7 am, which is super for me!!
I do feel tired today, but that's prob just cos I not sleptwell in years and now am.
I seen to the bunnies and cats today, off to dcotors then back to steam celan carpet and watch moveis.
tomorrow i doing the garden. so it wont be doing too much in one go.

as for relationships, my history is a disaster but I try not to let it get me down, there's people out there been through that and more. Just gotta get on life, say sod the b******s and move on!
