Re: Quazi and Modo

They are very playfull kittys, and share 2 very frightened and nasty feral mums. You have to be very quick when trying to get them out of the cage. Dawn has a big soft spot for Quazi but should the right home come along for them both, I am sure she would part with them. As for the feral mums, they will be speyed soon and may go to live at the stables where Alex kitties are.

Hmmm - not sure about the names, Elaine!! lol

They are cute, but that eye does look sore. Their poor mums must be wondering what on earth is happening to them!!

Re: Quazi and Modo

Another reason why Dawn is now coming round to the idea of terminating the pregnancies. The feral mums are so frightened and its not fair to have them caged for so long. Better for them to be released back into their colony, if its reasonable to do so, than have them confined, frightened and left with uncertainty as to whether they can be released back into the same colony.
As Dawn says, you have to think of the cat and whats best for it at the end of the day.

Not totally sure if it's something the mother has passed on like the other blind kittens or not. Dawn never said she would be blind in that eye so I am assuming whatever it is, its under control.

Re: Quazi and Modo

Update on Quasi's eye.
She is having it removed tomorrow.
Dawn said they think that one of the ferals had scratched the eye and it became enlarged but no infection. The eye was being treated but wasnt getting any better. Today the eye was bleeding, so she has now been booked in for tomorrow morning to have it removed.
Other than that she is fine within herself and as lively as anything.
