Re: Bliss' & Mildred's babies....

Hi thanks Elaine, not been on much as I have been busy with the babies and Kay has stopped over this weekend Kay has been a godsend of support to me and I must extend a huge thank you to her!

Well, all the babies are still with us and seem to have turned the corner, touch wood. I am still feeding three babies but they are very much perkier and are starting to put respectable amounts of weight on now. Another week and I will be able to try and wean them, so fingers crossed for that. I took Kay to see Bliss' babies at their foster home and they are looking lovely, they are running around and playing and are starting to wean now. I can't wait to get them home so that I can enjoy them but I realise that they need to be fully weaned first. The foster mummys are wonderful and are so protective over the babies, you would never know that they did not belong to them. I have been blessed that Mil's breeder was on hand to help out and for that I am so grateful. It's been a rollercoaster of emotion coupled with extreme fatigue at times but I am starting to feel very much more positive about things now. I have a couple of piccie of the 'nicest' two of Mildred's babies. I'll upload in a little while...

Fran they are lovely!!! I'm so glad that Kay was able to give you the support you needed.
You sound a lot more possitive. That's great, and I'm glad the babies are doing well.

Are you keeping the wee girl?

Those babies look adorable you must be so proud of them

I am so glad things are looking up for you now with the babies and of course Mildred it must be a huge relief and weight of your shoulders. You just can't enjoy them when you are worrying so much can you

Fingers crossed they have all now turned the corner and are just going to get stronger and stronger.

Sarah
