Re: giving up posting

Niki,I'm sorry to hear this. Please don't take it personally; it happens to everyone from time to time. I've, and I know others have also, been slightly disappointed when something I posted that I thought was interesting/funny got few responses. And it can be timing also...Saturdays are always slow. There are many members with diverse interests, so some posts will attract more responses than others.

Please think your decision over; hope you will stay!

Please don't let that stop you from posting. Like DM said that happens sometimes. It has probably happened to all of us one time or another. We do hope you stay around, whether you get the amount of posts you want or not. Things happens! Just be happy anyway

Things do get quite slow here sometimes Niki. As the others have said, it really isn't personal. Hope you stick around for a while longer.

Re: giving up posting

Please don`t get disheartened and give up posting because the Catsey website is all about the variety of cats and going on`s in peoples lifes which every body likes to share, and OK what you may think is interesting others don`t and vice versa if you know what I mean.
I have myself in the past posted things that I thought interesting or people would like only to find that there was not a huge response which at the time I have felt abit down about but then you can post something else that gets a huge response that makes you feel great .

So please do carry on posting

Re: giving up posting

Happens to me too Niki, partly why I havent been on much.
I keep being told that it's quiet on saturdays or it'll pick up through the dark and dreary evenings but it never did and like you Niki, I am getting fed up too.
There are some trully wonderful people here who are helpful and supportive but the forum has lost some of it's sparkle.

Re: giving up posting

I've had it happen a bit here (I'm pretty new) but I'm on a greyhound forum that's HUGE and by the time I go to check an initial post of mine, it could already be on page 5!!! And there are a number of 'famous' people on that board, whose posts always have 34 pages of replies, etc etc... I'll sometimes bump mine up again but if it 'fails' that time, I just let it go.

So I can sympathize!! I do like this site though!

Re: giving up posting

I still browse, but do not post alot, I too found my posts were not being answered, and felt ignored, I probably wasnt but it felt this way.....

I miss my friends here, and have tons to say but feel some news would best be left unsaid, unless I want to stick up for myself and cause arguement

Julie x
