Piccies of my cats - at last!

Well, I have been posting on here for a little while now (senior catpager now!) and I have never managed to work out how to post pictures. My daughter has set me up an account in photobucket and taught me how to do it! So at last you can see my 4 lovely fur babies!

This is the beautiful Sidney, he has deformed front paws.

This is 'fat' Sasha!

This is Rosie

This is Misty - seal point Birman

What beauties they all are.
Do you know the history of Sidney? What caused his paws to be deformed?

Re: Piccies of my cats - at last!

Sorry the photos are so large, have yet to learn how to reduce them!

We really don't know anything about Sidney, although he was born with his paws like that. I help out at our local Animal Sanctuary and one Sunday my daughter and I went in and Sidney was in the treatment room. He was so adorable, friendly and well we just HAD to have him! He walks with his front half lower than his back and one of his front paws he hardly uses at all. He can walk fast though and is the most amazing, affectionate, happy and loving cat I have ever had. He is such a character too. Because his front paws are deformed his back ones are very strong and he sprends a lot of his time like a meer cat! Even non-cat people like Sidney, he is unique!!

Yes Fran Rosie is a real sweetie, she is 5 years old now but she has stayed so petite. She loves to be stroked and if you stop she will tap you with her paw to remind you to start again!

Re: Piccies of my cats - at last!

Sorry, you can tell I adore my cats, but just had to tell you all a little more about Sidney. Apart from his 'funny' paws, he has a small kink at the end of his tail, he has whiskas growing out of his nose and has always had a watery left eye. We have taken him to the vets a couple of times for this and given drops and ointment which hasn't done any good. The vet suggested it could be a blocked tear duct so when he had his teeth cleaned recently they attempted to flush his tear duct - guess what - he doesn't have any!! Bless him, he will always have a watery eye. I told you he was unique!! He certainly makes up for all of these little oddities with his amazing personality!

Hey, Kim, nice to hear from you again & loved the piccies of your babies!! Glad you had some help with Photobucket; I have almost given up on getting it to work... The other cat site has been very quiet for weeks now, & was down again this afternoon...I'm so glad you referred me to this one!! Pat the cats from me, & Leia sends purrs & a head-butt...

I can see why you love all of them to bits. Please do tell all! I can't be the only person who likes hearing about other cats, see evidence all over this site.
