Dreading my drive home

Well this morning I saw in the middle of a road, what I dread to see, a poor dead cat, I couldn't stop at the time. I am leaving work soon and I hope somebody has either put it to one side or removed it Otherwise I will pop home, grab a bag and some gloves and take it to the vets, incase it has been microchipped.

Oh I hope it isn't here

Oh, poor Emma - it's awful isn't it?
Fingers crossed it's gone, otherwise much 'respec' to you if you have to move. If you do, please put an ad in the local paper so the owners know

Re: Dreading my drive home

Good idea about the add in the paper. It is quite strange as over the last 2 years I have seen about 4 dead cats on that road, (1 min journey from my home but too far for my cats to travel) but in the previous 6 years we lived there I never saw any.

I suppose in a way I am quite lucky as I have a strong stomach for this sort of thing, and I will move it if I have to.

I have a feeling this morning that it must have happened not long before I left for work.

I hate it too Emma - my work means I have to travel hundreds of miles each week, so I see a few dead cats now & again, it turns my stomach every time.
