A little mild exercise.

Leia doesn't do dramatic leaps in the air as we just saw YumYum doing, but she will deign to kill a grass stem if she can do it lying down ......

Note the sharp claws!

That looks like an attractive sort of grass, Eileen - is it sort of fuzzy? Leia looks as if she has it well under control.

Have to say that I am a fan of ornamental grasses and have quite a few in the garden.

She has the right idea! Why use lots of energy when you can achieve the same result in using hardly any?! And those aren't claws .............. they're talons!

Re: A little mild exercise.

No, Angie, that's not an ornamental grass, just a seed head of a regular weedy grass growing in the alley. They make good cat toys; don't last well but there's an ample supply of them. If I had more room I'd have some pampas grass ... love it!

Re: A little mild exercise.

Well, it seems that people who grow pampas grass in their front gardens indulge in partner swapping!

It was on the radio a while ago - can't remember who said it though.
