Re: Missing Cat

Tom was pacing and yowling last night, couldn't seem to settle and lie down but he seems more relaxed now. Going to get him to vets when they are open just to check everything's okay (don't tell Tom that's where he's going though, don't want him running off again!)

He's been trying to "help" me type on Mum's laptop, unlike Ebony who refuses to go near laptops.

Re: Missing Cat

Mum got Tom checked out by a vet nurse friend of hers (who offered to give her professional opinion as to whether Tom needed vet treatment), she said Tom is fine and chances are he was wandering around yowling because he was looking for my mum (she was away on holiday that night Tom was wandering and yowling)

He wants to tell everyone where he's been, and why.
Fantastic news Phoenix!, your mum and you can now start to recoup your frazzled nerves and let your nervously nibbled fingernails grow again! If only the little loves knew just how they are missed. I hope the vet gives Tom an 'all clear'. Please let us know.

Re: Missing Cat

Tom's come to the new house with me, he just wasn't coping with living with a teenager so when I moved earlier this month I brought him with me so he didn't have to stay in rescue yet again, I'm taking him to the vets for a checkup when the insurance paperwork comes through from my mum's (he was fine when he was found but over the past couple of days he hasn't seemed to like having his lower back touched, just gets a bit growly and not sure if it's bad mood or something developing, he's not aggressive about getting touched there he just growls and grumbles), he walks fine and eats well (he steals some of Ebony's food) but just want to know if he's got anything going on causing him to be grumbly and grumpy about getting touched on his lower back.

Re: Missing Cat

Good luck with finding out what's making Tom grumpy. He may have a bit of arthritis? Sounds like a good move taking him with you.
