Another sporting Hero Dies

Richard Burns the 2001 World Rally Champion has died

He was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2003 and died peacefully last night. Thoughts are with his family tonight

RIP Richard Burns

Yes it is DM, it's scary to think that he was only 5 years older than me to the day.

Nae - wait till you get to my age and see people younger popping their clogs .
There's a saying that you should live each day as if it is your last and there is a lot of sense in that. I used to be really (small c) conservative - 'no, don't do that now, who knows what might happen etc etc' - now i just say, if it's possible, just go for it - there are too many in the churchyard who spent their lives saying 'maybe tomorrow' and their tomorrow never came............
