Saturday's Thread

Good morning!!! Where is everyone on this fine Saturday morning?

Today is cold and crisp but no snow as yet *ever hopeful . . . *

We will be heading off into London this afternoon, 1st to see my Mum and drop off her 80th brithday presents (and our son), and then on into London coz I have a belated birthday treat for hubby; 2 tickets for the new Edward Scissorhands ballet at the Sadlers Wells!! I'm SO looking forward to it . . . it's a complete surprise for him so I hope he'll enjoy it. Dinner in Camden later on if we feel like it!!

Right . . .off to fix breakfast for junior . . . have a lovely Saturday everyone!!

Re: Saturday's Thread

Hello there, Yola! Good day to you -- and to everyone!

Weather report: Presently the air temperature is 40 degrees Fahrenheit, the sky is cloudy and the wind is calm. Oh, it's dark too: 1:15 a.m.

There's nothing on the agenda for today apart from doing a bit of laundry. Pay day comes next Friday, so what I've come to call Rice Week has begun: that gradual descent over the course of seven days, through darkening clouds and into the glory of pay day.

Best wishes to everybody, for a happy and safe weekend! We now return you to your regularly-scheduled programming.

=^..^=

Morning (just about) everyone!
Pretty cold here, but dry. Sun is in and out - obviously it's quite pleasant when it's out but it's a bit icy otherwise. Forecast says actual +1C/feels like -1C
Have been to town, got a couple of xmas pressies, had a coffee, got some lamb for a spicy morroccan dish for today and tomorrow.

Re: Saturday's Thread

Well I have just been to B&Q and got some hardboard for Frans picture (drawing of Boosty I am doing) so I have sketched it out and I am hoping to start it later today, also got another drawing of a cat to do

I cooked a lamb bhuna last night so I need to finish off cooking that in a minute, I am really looking forward to that.
