Newbie =)

Hello my name is Julie-Anne.

I have owned two cats.. they're still at my mum's. I moved in to a flat with my boyfriend in January. We decided to get an indoor cat. I went to the RSPCA last Sunday (11/09) and today (rather quick I know) we brought home Stevie!

A lovely little black cat with 1 eye! Who has settled in quite nicely but, has taken a shining to my seat on the sofa! (two humans living here 5 seats and Stevie picks the 1 I sit on) and he quite likes my bedroom!

Hi and welcome to you and Stevie! He does sound as if he's settling in; how old is he? And yes, bravo for taking in a rescue cat!

Re: Newbie =)

Hello thanks they think he is around 3 but he was a stray! So they have no real clue! He's still a bit jumpy whether this is due to being scared or the fact that he has no depth perception so is unsure how close we are I'm not sure! But after 2 hours I went and (stupidly?) carried him from the kitchen in to the living room where he sat for four hours and had cuddles! Which he loves! When we went to see him yesterday to arrange to pick him up he was pressing his face up against the glass! Was really hard leaving but, its lovely to have him home. I was missing my cats at my mums. Who were also from the RSPCA but that was 12 years ago we adopted them!

Well the description at the RSPCA was black with white! The only white on him is 5 white hairs on his chest!
