Just found this analysis of the most requested searches on Google in 2005: -

1: Janet Jackson

Wierd or what????? Or does it just show that the www is a 'young thang'?

Janet Jackson? Was that when everyone was clammouring to see her Superbowl 'boob' Can't remember if that was this year or last . . .

But what a shallow search list - apart from the 2 natural disasters it was all celeb-led and populist culture-led. How sad
