Heartburn

Any sufferers?
Not had it before but have been suffering for the last 10 days or so. Think I've got it sorted now.
Any tips in case it should come back?

Re: Heartburn

Best to go to the doc. I have been told that milk lines the gullet but not sure. My mum swears by bicarbonate of soda mixed with cold water. Tasts disgusting but it does work.

Re: Heartburn

DM it might be worth having a word with your GP if you have never suffered before and have had it for 10 days. Indigestion like symptoms can sometimes be signs of other things...

cutting down on spicy foods, alcohol, ciggies and trying to reduce stress as much as possible will help. Keep a food diary and see if you can find a trigger. Hope you will soon be feeling better

Re: Heartburn

Had it when I was pregnant, both times. My mum said it was cause the babies had a lot of hair!!! Trebor Extra Strong Mints work brilliantly but mind you don't break a tooth on them like I did.
