Is my cat injured and/or in pain?

Hi, here's what happened:

My toaster oven was on, which is like a mini oven. When it's on for atleast a minute I CAN'T touch the back surface without burning my finger. My cat entered the space between the wall and oven. It was on for more than a minute when the cat entered that space and lied down, her whole side in contact with the back surface. No room was left between her body, oven and the wall.
After a few seconds the heat (or pain?) came to her... she made to escape. Her escape was delayed by some things and so she was STUCK there for aproximately 10 to 15 seconds.

Other clues: Afterwards she allowed me to touch her side and press lightly on it, which I think she normally wouldn't do. She let me pick her up with less of a protest. She still chased her toy mouse around.

Also a few days after it happened she was brought to the shelter because I can't keep her, and so I can't see her now.

No one was told about it and this happened 7 months ago. Is she still injured and/or in pain?

Ill answer questions

If this happened 7 months ago she would have been treated by now if she had been in any pain.

No one was told about what happened and she might be hiding her pain

If she had gone into a rescue shelter, she would most likely have had a vet check her over before she was rehomed.

I don't know if a vet can find everything

If she had anything wrong with her, they would have found it before rehoming her...

Why did she have to go to the shelter and why didn't you mention to them what had happened at the time?

At the time I figured she was not injured, but then later I thought about it more. Also afterwards I turned the toaster oven on to see how hot it gets, I burnt my finger and am now thinking the cat is injured. And I could no longer keep her so I brought her to the shelter

Re: Is my cat injured and/or in pain?

I contacted the shelter a few days ago and told the director what happened. First he said he would have taken care of the injury while she was at the shelter, and I replied that the shelter wasn't told about the accident, that it had just happened when she was brought in and might not have shown infection (she was adopted out shortly after her stay at the shelter). And THEN the director said that the responsibility of the cat is now the new owner's. I want to call the director again and ask him to call the new owner, even though I asked him already
