Re: Positive healing vibes for Pip please

Thanks everyone for your kind words. It does seem horridly Pip-free here atm.

Kazz, he's a superb water drinker. One indicator that things were not right with him this morning was that he didn't follow OH into the kitchen first thing to have the tap turned on for his morning drink. He's always wanting the tap on - since he was a kitten and he spends a goodly time drinking. He's not keen on the water fountain which Kizzy uses daily.

Glad it wasn't worse! You and Kizzy must be lost without him there; I do so hope he can come home tomorrow. Wonder what caused it??

Re: Positive healing vibes for Pip please

He will have to stay catheterised for 24 hours Eileen and then another 24 hours after the catheter is removed, so earliest we can have him home will be Tuesday. It's bad timing because he will come home to find Monty has moved in.

I am wondering what caused it .... could just be an infection.

Just thinking about this and wonder if it could be stress related. Pip seems to be such a laid-back chap, but cats can get stressed so easily.

I hope it isn't to do with stress; there will undoubtedly be some with the new arrival ......

Oh Goodness! I've just seen this and am so pleased there's not a blockage and Pip should be feeling much better now. What bad timing though with Monty's arrival imminent!

glad it isn't a blockage. My Broxi has had that twice, and it's not pleasant. Fingers crossed this was just a one off and he'll be home in no time x

Cats lives are full of stress because we have no idea when they are free roaming as to what they get up to in the day. I think you can just do what you can if the symptoms occur as you often as much a you try will never find the cause. And often its not what you think.
